Sunshine Advisories - Page 4
The Attorney General’s “Sunshine Advisories” discuss basic requirements and application of Iowa's "sunshine" laws. The state's sunshine laws include the Open Meetings Law (Iowa Code Chapter 21) and Public Records Law (Iowa Code Chapter 22).
The advisories are a resource for citizens as well as local governmental employees and officials. Local governmental employees or officials should obtain legal advice from their counsel, such as the city or county attorney.
Each advisory lists the date it was first published and last updated.
