Performance Reports for Funded Programs

Performance Reports

I'm looking for information on the following performance report:
STOP Violence Against Women (STOP VAWA)
Sexual Abuse Service Program (SASP)
Family Violence Prevention & Services Act Grant (FVPSA)
Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) and SARS

Bi-annual (all funded organizations must complete)


How to complete and submit reports in Iowa GVS 

All subrecipients are required to submit performance reports. Depending on the funding source requirements, these reports are quarterly, bi-annual or annual.  Performance reports are an essential part of communication and highlight grant successes. These reports document your accomplishments and provide grant data required by federal and state governments. 

Depending on your funding stream, your reports will be completed and submitted in various ways.


STOP Violence Against Women (STOP VAWA)

If you receive STOP Violence Against Women (STOP VAWA) funds, you will need to complete an annual STOP VAWA report for the most recent calendar year (January -December).  The reporting form and instructions are new as of January 2020.

Resources, guides, and tips for completing this report are on the VAWA MEI website. 

  • To use the reporting form, download both the form and the instructions and save them to your computer.
  • Use Adobe Reader DC to open the reporting form.
  • Complete the reporting form.
  • Click the "VALIDATE" button at the end of the form to check it.
  • Save the validated form with a new name on your computer.
  • Upload the validated report in the report section of  Iowa GVS. 

The STOP VAWA report is due February 15. 


Sexual Abuse Service Program (SASP)

If you receive Sexual Abuse Service Program (SASP) funds, you will need to complete an annual SASP report for the most recent calendar year (January -December). 

Resources, guides and tips for completing this report are on the VAWA MEI website. 
 

  • To use the reporting form, download both the form and the instructions and save them to your computer.
  • Use Adobe Reader DC to open the reporting form.
  • Complete the reporting form.
  • Click the "VALIDATE" button at the end of the form to check it.
  • Save the validated form with a new name on your computer.
  • Upload the validated report in the report section of  Iowa GVS. 

The SASP report is due February 15.


Family Violence Prevention & Services Act Grant (FVPSA)

If you receive Family Violence Prevention & Services Act Grant (FVPSA) funds, you must complete an annual FVPSA Report for reporting period of October 1 to September 30. This report is to be completed on Iowa GVS. Download a report template to review the reporting requirements.  

The FVPSA report is due November 15.


Victims of Crime Act (VOCA)

If you receive Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) funds, you will need to complete quarterly VOCA reports as following

Reporting Periods Report Due Dates
October 1 to December 30 January 31
January 1 to March 31 April 30
April 1 to June 30 July 31
July 1 to September 30 October 31

 Bi-Annual Report 

All grantees must complete biannual performance reports for every CVAD grant they receive as follows:

Reporting Periods Report Due Dates
October 1 to March 31 May 15
April 1 to September 30 November 15
