As an attorney in this position, you will:

Provide day-to-day legal advice, including on employment-related matters.

Represent agencies, boards, commissions, and their employees in administrative tribunals, as well as state and federal courts, including appellate courts.

Assist with the review and drafting of administrative rules.

A passion for public service and a strong commitment to justice.

A minimum of three years of practice experience is preferred, but we also welcome applications from new attorneys.

Prior judicial clerking experience is a plus.

A license to practice law in Iowa, or the ability to obtain one, is required.

Annual pay ranging from $59,363.20 to $143,499.20, depending on experience.
