The Farm Division is dedicated solely to the interests of farmers and other rural residents. It serves as the primary legal counsel for nearly all bureaus of the Iowa Department of Agriculture & Land Stewardship. The division represents the interests of Iowa farmers in litigation in state and federal courts. The Farm Division also works with other state attorneys general in multistate investigations and litigation. In addition, the division develops and provides legal input to state lawmakers on legislation that affects farmers and rural residents.
