Fighting Federal Overreach

The Attorney General’s Office is committed to protecting and defending the rights of Iowans. When the Federal Government exceeds its authority and infringes upon state’s rights, the office takes action to uphold constitutional boundaries. These actions include defending state laws and regulations, as well as suing the federal government when necessary to ensure it stays within its lawful limits.
